In the old stories the Jinwu is a golden three-legged bird who lives in the sun. Every morning it carries the sun up across the sky, and every evening it brings it home again. The same bird. Every day. Without being asked.
We chose it because it isn’t a claim about the sun. Anyone can point at the sun. It’s a claim about the carrying, and about doing it again tomorrow.
Joshua has worked in home improvement for over ten years and designed solar systems for the last four, through several rounds of change in how California treats them. He designs and prices every system, holds the relationships with the licensed contractors who build them, and stays the point of contact after the install. His registration is public and verifiable on the state license board.
John has spent thirty years in home improvement, on projects across California. He’s drawn to the technical side of it — efficiency, and what actually works on a particular building — and to the part of the job where an owner finally understands what they’re being asked to buy.
Joshua’s registration is public — look it up by name or number at cslb.ca.gov.
